Job Description:
Our idea of a Tower Technician is someone who poses the ability to climb all types of towers and mono poles to install communications equipment. They should be willing to perform in adverse weather including extreme cold and very hot climates. An applicant should possess the ability to work as a team with other members of their crew.
A tower technician should at all times keep safety at a forefront.
Every climber will be responsible for their own equipment, inspecting their harness and rigging before every use.
Absolute Tower is a drug free company, each applicant must pass and initial drug screening and be aware of periodic screenings throughout their employment.
Every Tower Technician will be properly trained on climbing, rescue, and basic safety
A good candidate for the Tower Technician position will be honest, responsible, dependable, hard working, interested in learning a variety of skills, and, of course, comfortable working at great heights. Experience as a Tower Technician is not necessary, but the will to learn is. Each Tower Technician will be trained in Tower Climbing Safety & Rescue, CPR/First Aid, OSHA 10-hour, Fundamentals of Rigging, along with numerous connector training certificates
Travel
Absolute Tower is based in Phoenix Arizona based company. Out of state travel may be required. If you are needed at one of our out of state projects you will be compensated a per-diem rate for meals and hotel expenses.
Pay
With no Wireless Construction experience the starting wage is $11.00 per hour. With Wireless Construction experience, applicants, starting wage can be much higher. Every employee will receive a guaranteed $1/hr raise every fiscal year along with performance raises.
Benefits
Benefits are available after 90 days of employment. We offer paid vacation and paid holidays. Health insurance and dental insurance is also offered.
